The Old Ways Workshops
These sessions are vibrant, creative and based on traditional ways and belief of the Celtic lands. They can include one or more of the following: group drumming, rhythm and chant, poetry writing, exploration of the elements (earth, air, water, fire), the Story of Taliesin, Eisteddfod (celebration of the traditional bardic arts - poetry, story telling and singing) and / or ceremony.
Development Workshops
By learning to 'read' a sculpture participants engage in the exploration and a discussion about diversity or freedom. Temporary loan of the appropriate sculpture that links with the workshop may also be available.
Journal Development Workshop
A workshop for KS3, KS4 or adults to develop the use of journals for personal direction in artwork. Journals are a valuable tool for artists to record and develop ideas, reflection and development of a theme. A fun session to learn the skills used by degree level students and professional artists.
Artist in Residence
Victoria will spend a period of time (usually) a term, developing her work while involving students in the process. This option can include workshops, talks or an exhibition and can be tailored to your needs.
I Am Creative (Workshops tailored for dyslexic students)
Creative sessions to support dyslexic students. Choose from multi-sensory learning inc. spelling, confidence building or relaxation. All Namaha workshops are suitable for dyslexic students however 'I Am Creative' workshops allow for specific support for issues that the dyslexic student face. Victoria is also dyslexic and has a dyslexic son.
Tailored Workshops
Workshops can be tailored to your requirements. Sessions can be devised in partnership with the school or organisation to aid learning (e.g. reading in KS2 boys), community cohesion in a particular area, school and community interaction or learning support / special educational needs.
