Victoria Redgrave is a multi media artist working in Coventry and the surrounding area. She works mainly with Natural items, scavenged pieces & materials others would consider as junk. She often pairs them with textiles, digital imagery and video to develop medium scale sculpture and installations.
Victoria's current body of work is concerned with connecting to nature and inner peace through the elements of earth, air, fire and water.
Victoria enjoys exhibiting her work in unusual places to add an element of surprise, wonder and 'head scratching' to her work. Her work is based on personal experience and human personal development. This allows viewers to pose questions about their position on a given subject and enables them to reassess their own beliefs and understanding.
Through Namaha Victoria works in schools and with local communities focusing on the development of self esteem, co-operation, community cohesion, peace and the exploration and of 'The Old Ways'. Please click on your chosen link for further details of sessions available and past projects.
Victoria also has a separate artists website where you can view her sculpture and other artwork as well as exhibitions and events.
